Mehmet Emin Akdogan was born in Sirnak, Turkey in 1989. He received a B.S. degree from the Anadolu University, Turkey in 2013, and an M.S. degree from the University of Houston, Houston in 2017 respectively, both in Electrical & Computer Engineering. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Texas at San Antonio, TX, USA, and also working as a power electronic engineer at EnerSys. His research interests include modeling, control, and stability analysis of power electronics converters, and power quality improvement of renewable energy integration such as microgrids, distributed generation, solar PV, and energy storage systems.
