Ahmad Al-Hmoud is PhD student in electrical engineering and research assistant in the Univeristy of Arkansas since 2021. His research interests are in power electronics and SiC high power applications. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the German Jordanian University in Amman, Jordan, in 2015 and 2019, respectively, and he worked there as a research and teaching assistant for 6 years. He had the oppertunity to work as an intern in the power electronics department at the Fraunhofer ISE in Freiburg, Germany, and he worked on battery management systems in the RWTH Aachen university in Aachen, Germany. He is an IEEE student member, an IEEE-HKN honors society memeber, and a member of the Jordan Engineers Association.
