Amin Ashraf Gandomi (Student Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering focusing on power electronics from the University of Tabriz, Tabriz, Iran, in 2012 and 2015, respectively. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering with University of California Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz, CA, USA. His current research interests include design and analysis of isolated and non-isolated dc– dc converters using wide band gap devices for shipboard and EV applications.
