Eyyup Demirkutlu (MSc.EE) is an IEEE student member. He was born in Erzincan, Turkey, in 1980. He received the B.Sc. degree (with honors) in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2003, and the M.Sc. degree in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2006. His Master thesis research involved the implementation of digital control and modulation strategies for a four-leg inverter-based three-phase inverter. He is a Ph.D. candidate (with summa cum laude, 4.00 GPA) in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey.
From 2004 to 2007, he was a researcher with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey. From 2008 to 2012, he was with Elsis Electronics Systems Inc. From 2012 to 2014, he was with Gucelsan Ltd. From 2015 to 2020, he was a Power Electronics Hardware Design Chief Engineer with Turkish Aerospace Inc., Ankara, Turkey. Since 2021, he has been the Power Electronics Hardware Lead Design Engineer with the Department of Power and Control Systems, Aselsan Inc, Ankara, Turkey. His current research interests include power electronics, static power conversion, power control and modulation strategies.
