Minki Kim received his BS degree in electrical engineering from Kyungpook National University (KNU), Daegu, Rep. of Korea, in 2008, and his MS degree in electrical engineering from Seoul National University (SNU), Rep. of Korea, in 2010. From 2010 to 2019, he worked at the Electronics and Telecommunication Research Institute (ETRI), Daejeon, Rep. of Korea as a senior research engineer. He is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, MN, USA since 2019. His research interests include wireless power transfer systems, wide bandgap power devices, and power control systems
