Taeyeon Lee was born in South Korea, in 1993. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Chungbuk National University, Cheongju, South Korea, in 2016, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Pohang, South Korea, in 2018 and 2022. His current research interests include wireless power transfer for electric vehicle, AC motor control, power electronic systems, and sensorless drive. He joined WiPowerOne, a spin-off company of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2022, and is currently working as a senior researcher. Currently, he is working on heavy-duty wireless charging of 22 kW, 100 kW and 300kW.
