Riya Paul is currently working towards her PhD degree at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville in Electrical Engineering, under the guidance of Dr. Alan Mantooth. She received her B. Tech degree from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim, India in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2017. She has been awarded the Doctoral Academy Fellowship (DAF) to pursue her PhD. Her main field of research is power electronics packaging, and she also vividly deals with the thermo-mechanical management and electromagnetic interference (EMI) analysis of power electronics modules.
