Chatumal Perera (S’13, M’21) received the B.Sc. Eng. Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with First Class Honors from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2015. He completed his Ph.D. degree in 2021 at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Alberta, Canada.
He worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Laboratory for Advanced Power Conversion and Systems Analysis (LAPCSA) at the University of Toronto, Canada in collaboration with eLeapPower from 2021 to 2022. He is currently working as a research associate at the same laboratory. His main research interests include electric vehicles, motor drives, multi-level converters and PWM.
