Sourish S. Sinha received his B.E. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, India, in 2014 and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, North Carolina State University (NCSU), Raleigh, NC, USA. He works in the Laboratory for Packaging Research in Electronic Energy Systems (PREES), which is a part of FREEDM Systems Center at NCSU.
He worked in ABB India Ltd, India, in MV Switchgear, where he was involved in the order handling of Air and Gas Insulated Switchgear. His current research interests include developing high-density power electronic systems, MV/HV power modules, and their modeling, high-frequency layout techniques in power modules for converter applications, and ultra-low parasitic inductance and capacitance packaging design with WBG semiconductors and thin substrates.
