Jamie Turnbull is a graduate research assistant in the Wisconsin Electric Machines and Power Electronics Consortium (WEMPEC) at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Jamie is finishing her M.S. degree in electrical engineering in May 2023. She also received her B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin Madison in May 2019. Afterwards, she worked in electrification at General Motors for two years before returning to graduate school. Her research interests include design of power electronics for medium voltage applications. Jamie grew up in Southern California and enjoys gardening and practicing ballet.
