Tobias Nieckula Ubostad was born in Rjukan, Norway, in 1996. He received the M.Sc. degree in electrical power engineering in 2020, from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway, where he is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in power electronics with focus on SiC power devices. He is with the Power Electronic Systems and Components (PESC) research group, Department of Electric Power Engineering (IEL), NTNU. His research interests include gate driver and package designs for wide bandgap semicondutor devices, and FEM modelling for various power electronic applications.
