Paul Ziegenfelder is a design engineer at Electric Power Systems where he is developing next generation propulsion batteries for aerospace and other frontier markets. He earned his BS in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University in 2012 and more recently his MS in electrical engineering from Utah State University (USU) in 2022. During his time at USU, Paul synthesized contemporary methods of thermal analysis and design practices of printed circuit boards.
Paul has nearly a decade of experience in electric vehicle development ranging from material handling to aerospace industries. He is driven by the belief that a brighter future can be achieved through better integration of knowledge from differing fields such as mechanical, electrical and computer engineering.
