operation and maintenance of high-frequency power converters require compatible instrumentation and topologies. Switch current and voltage information provides means for control, protection, prediction, and maintenance in many applications. This paper presents a novel integrable switch current sensor based on Rogowski coil operating principle, that is compatible with high-frequency DC-DC power converters. The proposed sensor is low-cost, high-bandwidth, and does not require external signals to correct Rogowski’s DC measurement errors. The sensor performance is confirmed through experimental results, detecting high-current high-frequency switch current waveforms.
