This paper proposes a new current-fed three-level three limb triple active bridge converter topology with auxiliary inductor. Three limb transformer provides low inter-winding parasitic capacitances and 3L output gives higher DC voltage and offers better control degree of freedom. The operational modes of the proposed converter are explained. The three limb transformer modeling is explained using magnetic circuit. ZVS analysis of each switches of the proposed converter under different operating conditions are presented. Simulation results validate the analysis. Comparative results show lower input current ripple and wider ZVS range in the proposed converter which is advantageous for DC micro-grid application.
