The future performance of traction inverters with increased vehicle range and safety will be reliant on more intelligent and integrated gate driver power switch solutions to achieve maximum efficiency while maintaining high system reliability. The goal of this presentation is to give an overview of next generation isolated gate driver features such as adjustable drive strength that can address system efficiency and safety requirements while simplifying the traction inverter design.
