This digest investigates the magnetic integration of a resonant push-pull converter operated at a switching frequency in the high frequency (HF) range (3-30 MHz). Based on the requirements arising from circuit considerations, a magnetic structure is derived that is suitable for integrating all necessary inductive elements into a single component. An experimental prototype of a resonant push-pull converter operated at a 6.78 MHz switching frequency is used to verify the applicability of the proposed magnetic structure. The prototype has an output power of 420 W at the rated operating point with 91% dc-dc efficiency.
