This paper proposes the damping control to stabilize multiple servo drive systems connected to a common DC-bus line. The output current control response with the proposed damping control is evaluated by the experiments. The originality of this paper is that the damping controller parameters are designed based on the impedance method expanded the multiple units system. The experimental result shows that the output current response almost agrees with that of the simulation by 1%, and the stable operation range is expanded by 28% of the motor-rated power.
