This work presents different techniques for calculating predictors for the application of predictive control of an active filter connected in parallel, in order to carry out a subsequent analysis of the control performance for each method. The active filter in parallel has the function of eliminating the current harmonic components present in the electrical network. The development of the predictive control algorithm, the mathematical modeling of the parallel active filter and the mathematical models of discretization are discussed and presented in simulation using the Simulink.
