This paper proposes a new single-inductor multiple-output buck-boost hybrid converter, which employs a single inductor in the power stage to simultaneously supply multiple independent AC and DC loads from a DC input. Unlike its prior art, this hybrid converter achieves concurrent DC-AC and DC-DC mixed-mode power conversions. Besides, it operates in pseudo-continuous conduction mode (PCCM) without requiring additional freewheeling switches, thus simplifying the circuit structure, reducing the component count, and increasing the power efficiency. In practice, it acts as a multi-device hybrid charger for quick and concurrent wired and wireless charging with a wider load range.
