In this digest, a high gain single-phase switched-capacitor boost inverter is proposed for low voltage applications. In this topology, one more capacitor and diode have been added to the conventional single-phase H-bridge inverter with a DC/DC boost converter. By this way, the introduced inverter can enhance voltage gain to twice of that in the conventional inverter. Beside conventional three voltage levels of H-bridge inverter, two extra voltage levels have been introduced to improve quality of output voltage and current. Experimental results have been presented to verify the operating of the proposed inverter.
