Based on the partial power processing (PPP) concept, a simple dual-active-bridge (DAB)-based PPP energy storage system is presented, which can boost the utilization of the energy source such as batteries. Then, a high-robust control scheme is further proposed for this DAB-based PPP converter system for dealing with the change of the load condition including the renewable energy source and the consumer, and the balance performance of the stage of charge of batteries can also be achieved.
