LED growth lights with a tunable wavelength are becoming a new trend for horticulture applications and bring new technical challenges as well. This presentation shows a small form-factor and scalable LED driver design example to address these challenges. The driver consists of a high-efficiency AC-DC converter and multiple DC-DC converters integrated with LEDs for a precision dimming control, meeting the unique requirements of the LED growth lights.
