Power sharing and power limiting are common requirements for systems with multiple power inputs such as Power over Ethernet (PoE). A common approach is to measure the output currents and share them equally. This presentation will introduce a new approach to limiting and sharing the input power from multiple converters, which minimizes the effects of efficiency and input voltage variation.
