Xiangbing Wang, MD., Ph.D. is a Board Certified Physician in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. He graduated from Hunan Medical University in and received his BS degree in 1983 and his MS degree in 1986. He obtained his Ph.D. in the fields of Physiology/Pharmacology from Oregon Health Science University, USA in 1994 and finished his postgraduate training in the field of Endocrine Pharmacology at Yale University in 1996. He completed his 5-year clinical training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at Interfaith Medical Center, SUNY in 2001. Currently, he is a Professor of Medicine and director of a research laboratory for metabolic disorders at Rutgers University-RWJ Medical School. He is an experienced clinical endocrinologist, a principle investigator of several clinical trials and a Top Doctor of New Jersey 2017. He is a member of the publication and clinical research committees of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. He serves on the editorial boards of several peer-reviewed journals, including Endocrine Practice, and he has published more than 80 research articles in several medical journals including NJEM, JCEM, Endocrinology, Mol Cell Endocrinology, and Neuroendocrinology. For the last 10 years, his clinical research has focused on vitamin D binding protein, primary hyperparathyroidism, parathyroid hormone and cardiovascular risk factors.
