Dr Todd Frieze is an endocrinologist and the director of thyroid services in the Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Nutrition at Duke University. He serves as the senior medicine member of the Endocrine Neoplasia Program at the Duke Cancer Institute. He earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He then completed a residency in internal medicine at Wright-Patterson Medical Center and a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at Wilford Hall Medical Center. His clinical practice focuses on thyroid disorders, with other interests in parathyroid, pituitary, and adrenal tumors. Dr Frieze is a member of multiple professional societies, including the American Thyroid Association (ATA) and Endocrine Society. He is a fellow of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE) and American College of Physicians (ACP).
