Dr. Leslie S. Eldeiry, MD, FACE, ECNU is an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Part-Time, at Harvard Medical School and a full time clinical endocrinologist at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates/Atrius Health, a large, multi-specialty group in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Eldeiry received her Bachelors of Science from the University of Miami and her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. She subsequently completed Internship and Residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, PA and Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism and Nutrition at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, NY.
Dr. Eldeiry has been actively involved in AACE since she became a member in 2002 as a Fellow-in-training, and she received the FACE designation in 2009. She helped reestablish the former New England Chapter of AACE in 2008 and subsequently served as a board member, officer, and Chapter President in 2016-2017.
Dr. Eldeiry’s role with AACE at the national level has involved committee service in several areas, including (formerly) the ECNU Committee and AACE Branding Task Force, and currently the Thyroid Resource Center, Clinical Practice Guidelines, and Community Engagement committees. She is currently the Chair of AACE’s newly formed Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. Dr. Eldeiry also served as an Advisory member to the Board of Directors in 2017-2018 and is currently a Member of the AACE Board of Directors. Her clinical interests include thyroid diseases, particularly thyroid ultrasonography, adrenal and bone disorders, as well as clinical research and teaching activities.
