Kristine Batty is a member of the Diabetes and Endocrinology Division at Howard County General Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine and has Joint Appointment with Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. Kristine has been a nurse for 30 years, 21 of those years as a Nurse Practitioner. She has specialized in diabetes care and management for 18 years. She is currently serving as the Chair of the Technology Committee and is a member of the Professional Practice committee at the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists. She has been published in the Diabetes Spectrum, Journal of Diabetes Science and Technology and The Diabetes Educator. Her passion is to advance the science of diabetes care to allow for people with diabetes to live a healthy life with suffering the complications for the disease.
