Dr. Lubaina S. Presswala is an assistant attending physician with the Endocrine Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and an assistant professor of medicine at the Weill Cornell College of Medicine (WCM). Prior to joining the faculty at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK), Dr. Presswala was an attending and faculty at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center for four years following fellowship completion at the same institution. Formerly, as assistant professor of medicine at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and currently as teaching faculty at MSK and WCM, Dr. Presswala has committed herself to teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows. Dr. Presswala is a devoted clinician and provides the most evidence-based care to her patients. Dr. Presswala is an avid researcher and has successfully completed several research projects as principal and co-investigator. Dr. Presswala has contributed to innovations in clinical care by improving technology related workflows in diabetes care delivery at her institution and helped develop an institutional guideline on dosing chemotherapy in transgender patients with cancers. Dr. Presswala serves on committees within in her institution and in national societies. Finally, Dr. Presswala has presented lectures regionally and nationally, published peer-reviewed research, review articles, case series, and several textbook chapters.
