Danielle Brooks, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Health in New York. She attended SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and subsequently completed her Internal Medicine residency, as well as her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Bone Disease at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, where she served as chief fellow. Her research background involves diabetes technology use in older adults as well as artificial pancreas systems. In addition to diabetes technology, her clinical interests include type 1 diabetes, glucocorticoid-induced hyperglycemia management, and transgender medicine.
