Eileen R. Faulds, PhD, FNP-BC, RN, CDCES is an assistant professor, tenure track, at The Ohio State University (OSU) College of Nursing. Over her 12-years of experience as an endocrinology nurse practitioner, certified diabetes educator, and certified insulin pump trainer, she has practiced in inpatient and outpatient settings with children and adults with diabetes. She has worked extensively with interdisciplinary teams in the implementation of and use of diabetes technology in the inpatient setting. Dr. Faulds currently serves as principal investigator on clinical trials examining the use of CGM in the critical care environment. In addition, her National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded research is focused on understanding novel aspects of diabetes and technology management and the experience of individuals with diabetes and their relationship with technology.
