Steven M. Petak, MD, JD, MACE, FACP is an Associate Clinical Professor at Weill-Cornell Medical College, the Charles and Anne Duncan Centennial Academic Clinical Scholar in Endocrinology and Division Head and Clinical Service Chief of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the Houston Methodist Hospital, Houston Texas. He is also the bone densitometry and endocrine consultant to NASA at the Johnson Space Center. He is a past president of AACE and ACE and a past president of the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD). He was the co-chair of the 2020 AACE Osteoporosis Guidelines and has many publications in the field of metabolic bone disease and reproductive medicine.
