Caroline T. Nguyen MD is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine and diabetes, endocrinology, and metabolism. Her clinical and research interests are related to the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid disease with a focus in pregnancy. In addition to caring for patients at the USC Keck Medical Center and USC Center for Pregnancy Loss, she is a supervising attending physician in the LAC-USC thyroid and pregnancy clinic where she trains maternal fetal medicine and endocrinology fellows. Her research includes decompensated hypothyroidism and thyroid dysfunction in pregnancy.
