Dr. Angell is a board certified endocrinologist and clinical thyroidologist at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. He received his M.D. from the Keck School of Medicine, completed residency and endocrinology fellowship at the LAC+USC Medical Center, and research fellowship at the Keck School of Medicine. His primary research interests relate to thyroid disease, with emphasis on the diagnosis and management of nodules and cancer. He is a member of the ATA Thyroid Nodules Guidelines Task Force and International Thyroid Oncology Group, and serves on the editorial boards of Thyroid, Frontiers in Endocrinology, and JCEM.
