Jennifer A. Sipos is a Professor of Medicine and Medical Director of the James Neuroendocrine Service Line at The Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center. She serves as a Vice Chair for Diversity and Inclusion for the Department of Internal Medicine. She obtained her medical degree and Internal Medicine residency training at Wake Forest University. She completed her Endocrinology and Metabolism Fellowship at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Sipos has developed an interest in the use of ultrasonography for the diagnosis and management of thyroid nodules and cancer and has taught and served as a course director for numerous ultrasound courses nationally and internationally. She is an invited member of the International Thyroid Nodule Ultrasound Working Group to create an evidence-based guideline for a unified system of thyroid nodule risk stratification and management. She serves on the National Comprehensive Cancer Network’s Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology-Thyroid Carcinoma Panel and the writing task force for the Thyroid Nodule Guidelines sponsored by the American Thyroid Association.
