Anupam Kotwal, MD is an Assistant Professor and Endocrinologist at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He received Endocrinology training at Mayo Clinic Rochester. He specializes in onco-endocrinology and thyroid disorders. He performs neck ultrasonography and biopsies of thyroid tumors. At AACE, he serves on the editorial boards of Endocrine Practice and AACE Clinical Case Reports, the Thyroid Disease State Network, and co-chairs the Abstract Review Committee for the 2023 meeting. He is a member of the ABIM Endocrinology Item Writing Taskforce and a consultant for Horizon Therapeutics USA, Inc. He is funded by an Institutional Development Award from NIH. Recently, he is utilizing his experience as a thyroid cancer survivor to guide his clinical and research work.
