Susie Flynn currently serves (9 yrs.) as the Director, Certification Standards and Programs at the ABMS, the premier system for Board Certification committed to professional self-regulation of physicians and the delivery of quality patient care.
In this role she oversees 24 medical specialty boards in the development and implementation of standards to assess the knowledge, judgement and skills of physicians through both initial and continuing certification programs, establishes continuous quality improvement plans to advance continuing certification programs through medical education innovations, adaptive digital assessment platforms, increased transparency, and alignment with national quality initiatives.
