Laura Simone, PhD, is Executive Director of Scientific Affairs at PRIME Education, LLC (PRIME). She received her PhD in cancer research from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In 2015, she joined PRIME where she oversees strategic planning, development, and evaluation of integrated educational initiatives for health care providers, managed care professionals, patients, and health systems. In her role, Dr. Simone guides teams in the development of innovative educational initiatives that incorporate contemporary principles of adult learning for health care teams and patients to impact behavioral change across health sectors. She also leads publication and presentation efforts of findings from PRIME's initiatives in peer-reviewed scientific journals and conferences.
