Elizabeth is a senior operations manager at the American Academy of Family Physicians, where she leads and supports a team of 15+ professionals responsible for designing and delivering continuing medical education. In roles of increasing responsibility, she has focused her career on her passion for learning and leadership. Combining both of these areas of interest, she earned her master's degree in organizational leadership in 2021. She has presented at industry conferences, is published in two peer-reviewed journals, and has served as the co-chair and faculty for the Leading Physician Well-being certificate program, where she spoke on topics related to leadership and performance improvement.
She enjoys running, reading, and Monty Python’s Flying Circus. She lives in the Kansas City metropolitan area with her two children, a dog, a cat, two noisy guinea pigs, and a 12-year-old blind cave fish named Edgar.
