Session Description: This session is designed for early career professionals who haven't yet identified a mentor to work with them to assess and advance in their career in this niche industry. This session is designed to empower learners to become better at:
Serving as one's own advocate
Identifying possible mentors, as well how to approach and connect with mentor candidates
Developing an 'elevator pitch'
Choosing better times to speak up and speak out
This session will also include small group work, as well as include tools and resources for career development in HCP CE/CPD.
Innovation: I would have been scared and delighted to be able to work on some of these skills 15 years ago. Just as I aspire to be the boss I never had, I propose this session with the same motivation - I wish someone would have sat me down and shared this with me sooner.
