This one-hour discuss will present participants with a variety of tools to help build inclusive and innovative educational initiatives. By utilizing a backwards planning approach with some key DEIA guidelines in place, we can create education that overcomes barriers while being innovative and engaging.
This presentation will focus on tools and guidelines to create different types of microlearning such as whiteboard animations and tweetorials that will aid in learner knowledge retention. We will discuss the role of social media and social listening in CME and look at how social listening helps bridge the existing accessibility and inclusion gaps we sometimes face.
We will provide several case studies of how we have used these tools in our activities and give a hands on demonstration of how they can be used in other organizations.
Innovation: We will focus on Tweetorials, the Whiteboard animation creation process (storyboarding, etc.) and provide learners with a planning tool to use create inclusive and accessible education that is also innovative.
