Illon R. Kantro is a partner at Berk, Merchant & Sims, PLC and proud to sit on WIND’s Board of Directors. Whether conducting examinations under oath, rendering coverage opinions, litigating matters through trial, or serving as an expert witness on the issue of attorneys’ fees, Mr. Kantro spent the last seventeen years assisting foreign and domestic insurers with matters of first and third-party insurance coverage. Originally from Bayside, New York, Mr. Kantro received his Bachelor of Science from The American University, in Washington, D.C., and his Juris Doctor from The University of Miami School of Law, in Coral Gables, FL. Mr. Kantro is admitted to practice in Florida’s state and federal courts.
