Alan Palma is a first party property insurance claim lawyer whose practice is focused exclusivley upon protecting the rights of residential and commercial policy holders. After graduatifng from the University of Miami School of Law in 2008, Mr. Palma commenced his legal career as a criminal defense and then consumer protection litigation attorney with two boutique litigation firms in Miami. In 2010, Mr. Palma went on to work with the first party Insurance defense firm of Berk, Merchant & Sims, PLC in Coral Gables. Mr. Palma worked at Berk Merchant & Sims for almost 3 1/2 years during which time he represented dozens of admitted and surplus lines insurance carriers in complex and large insurance commercial losses. In 2016 Mr. Palma started his own practice in Miami Beach. Since that time Mr. Palma has represented hundreds of residential and commercial property owners whose property damage insurance claims have been unlawfully denied, delayed and/or underpaid. Mr. Palma is also a member of the Florida Justice Association, the Florida Lawyer's Network, and BNI Miami Beach.
