Karen moved from New York to Florida in 1994. She has over 36 years of combined legal and public adjusting experience. This work background and the knowledge she gained during that time gave her the ability to understand insurance policies and the rights of policyholders. Karen's strength and perseverance allows her to represent her clients well by recovering everything they are entitled to for their claim. She helps her client's understand the complicated insurance claim process and explains all available coverages in their policy.
Karen's experience includes adjusting insurance claim losses for residential and commercial property owners caused by water damage due to plumbing or other leaks, hurricane, fire, flood and sinkhole claims.
Karen is a Certified Property Insurance Appraiser & Umpire (CPAU) for insurance claim disputes. She is a member of the Insurance Appraisal & Umpire Association (IAUA) and the Windstorm Insurance Network.
Karen also values and appraises personal property such as furniture, antiques and collectibles and provides USPAP compliant valuations. She is a member of the International Society of Appraisers.
She is Matterport Certified and is a Notary Public in the State of Florida.
Karen is a proud member and currently serves as the Past President of the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA) and Chairs several committees. She has a passion for helping others and also Chairs the FAPIA Community Affairs Committee where she volunteers, donates and works to raise money for those in need in our local communities. She also enjoy working out and quality time with family and friends.
