Chip Merlin is a former President of the Windstorm Insurance Network. He is an attorney practicing in first party insurance claims since a 1983. Chip is a noted national authority on Property Insurance. He is a frequent lecturer to national insurance trade groups and has published numerous papers and articles on the subject, including hailstorm losses. Chip published a book, Pay Up!: Preventing A Disaster With Your Own Insurance Company, to provide policyholders with an educational resource on navigating property insurance claims and helping policyholders avoid disputes with their own insurance carriers.
