Shauncey Hunter Ridgeway is an attorney in Christian & Small's Jackson, Mississippi office. Located in the heart of Mississippi, Shauncey handles matters across the state, from the Delta to the Gulf Coast, as well as in neighboring Alabama and Louisiana. Shauncey focuses her practices on insurance matters, commercial litigation, as well as bankruptcy and creditors rights matters. Shauncey has represented both insurers and insureds against a range of claims, including bad faith, breach of contract, indemnity and extra-contractual matters stemming from property damage caused by wind, water and construction defects.

A Louisiana native, Shauncey completed her undergraduate studies at LSU in Mass Communication in 2013. She became a Mississippi resident upon earning her juris doctorate degree at Mississippi College School of Law in 2016. Outside of her practice, Shauncey frequently volunteers to coach and judge advocacy competitions hosted by Mississippi College School of Law’s Moot Court Board. Shauncey resides just outside of Jackson with her husband and their two corgis.
