Donald Phillips, CPAU, holds the IAUA Certified Professional Appraiser and Umpire Certification (CPAU) and is also a Windstorm Network Certified Umpire. He has served as an umpire on more than 200 appraisals and also has served as an appraiser for both the insured and the insurer. Don has been employed in various positions in the insurance claims industry for more than 47 years. He is currently a licensed public adjuster and has also been employed as an independent adjuster, company staff adjuster, regional staff claims manager and an equity partner of a regional independent adjusting company. He is a past president of the Florida Association of Independent Adjusters and past president of the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters. He also currently serves as a non-lawyer member on a Florida Bar 17th Circuit Grievance Commitee.
