This presentation will discuss the 2022 Atlantic hurricane season, with a focus on Hurricane Ian. Some initial thoughts on the 2023 Atlantic hurricane season will also be included. The session will also discuss a new hurricane categorization scale, using pressure to categorize hurricanes.
