Medical Resident
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
Columbus, Ohio, United States
Jonathan Henricks, MD - PGY-3 Emergency Medicine / Internal Medicine resident at The Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center.
I am originally from Baltimore, Maryland where I spent the majority of my life, and two gap years prior to medical school. During those years, I worked as a scribe, worked as a GTA at University of Maryland, in their physiology course (notorious among most pre-meds), and served as a volunteer for the Shepherd's Clinic in Baltimore City. I moved to Toledo, Ohio, for medical school, where I was introduced to point-of-care ultrasound, helped spearhead the University of Toledo's USIG, and have been an avid user in my daily medical practice since.
Currently, I am a dual resident at OSU, where I am fortunate to have an incredible complement of both emergency medicine and internal medicine mentors and friends, many of whom share an interest in ultrasound. I hope to use and build upon my understanding of ultrasound so that I can take better care of my patients, connect with co-residents, medical students, and patients on a deeper level, and see physiology in action!
