Humberto Rosas, MD is currently a Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and serves as the Director of Radiology at East Madison Hospital as well as Director of the MSK Interventional Program. During his tenure, the interventional services has seen a 700% growth in volume and expanded to provide additional services including MSK Interventional Oncology and Nerve Ablation programs providing cancer and pain patients with innovative therapeutic options. He Co-Founded AyrFlo Inc, a monitoring device companey, hoping to improve the safety profile of cases requiring sedation. Since its inception, AyrFlo has won several awards including the Wisconsin Alumni Resarch Foundation Innovation Award. His research and interestes have led to basic science and clinical publications in addtion to over 100 national and international lectures. He served as Chair of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) MSK Ultrasound Group. His special interests include MSK Ultrasound, Spine Interventions, Tumor and Neve Ablation, and Vertebroplasty. Dr. Rosas graduated from Stanford University, after which he matriculated at Duke Medical School. He completed his Radiology residency and fellowship at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology.
