Jim G. Castellanos is currently a third year anesthesiology resident at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medicine. He received a B.A. in Biology from Claremont McKenna College and a M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Arizona. He received his M.D. and Ph.D. from Weill Cornell Medical College. He also served in the United States Marine Corps and is an Iraq War veteran.
